Tiger Shark

The Tiger shark is a relatively common resident along our east coast and has the distinct features of a requiem shark. It has a short, blunt snout, long upper labial furrows, and a big mouth with large, saw-edged, cockscomb-shaped teeth. Spiracles present. The Tiger shark has a dark grey color with vertical tiger-stripe markings that can fade or be obsolete in adults. It's average size is about 400cm to 650cm with a maximum length of about 800cm. This species lives worldwide in coastal and pelagic waters ranging from the surface to a depth of 140m (up to 350m). It has a wide tolerance for different marine habitats, but seems to prefer turbid waters, occurring on or adjacent to the continental and insular shelves. It is often found in river estuaries, close inshore and in coral atolls and lagoons. Tiger sharks are nocturnal and shows cycles of inshore movement at night and retreat to deeper water during daytime. Tiger sharks are mainly solitary.

The Tiger Sharks meal plan is fish, other sharks, turtles, birds, and any garbage. The maximum length is about 5.5m. As it has such a large variety of food it might be considered potentially dangerous to humans although it is more likely to feed on humans already dead from other causes.Their uniquely shaped teeth are highly evolved and therefore allow them to feed on different food items, preventing potential food shortages that could arise with selective feeding. The size of pups at birth is between 50cm and 75cm. The pups are very slender and look different than the adults, different markings are present too.

Bull Shark

This is one of 43 shark species that can live in both seawater and freshwater. That fact alone makes this one of the best known shark species.

But this shark is also known as one of the top 3 sharks most likely to attack humans (the other 2 are the Great White Shark and the Tiger Shark). Of course, we know that shark attacks are extremely rare (you're more likely to be struck by lightning), but nonetheless, this shark has been nicknamed "The Pit Bull of the Sea" because if its aggressive behavior.
Most sharks have the same salt concentration in the blood as the sea water they are swimming in. This isn't the case with Bull Sharks. Instead, they only have 50% of the salt concentration in their blood.

These special hunters are migrants. They are found in many various areas including Oceans, rivers, and even some fresh water lakes! They tend to stay in warm and moderately deep waters around 30 to 150 meters (150 to 500ft) deep.
It seems the Bull Shark favors the Atlantic, Indian, and Pacific Oceans. Some of their favorite rivers include the Brisbane River, Amazon River, Ganges River, Brahmaputra River, Potomac River and the Mississippi River. They have been spotted several hundred miles upstream in these rivers, but typically stay within 100 miles of the Ocean. No attacks on humans have ever been recorded in these areas.

Great White Shark

The Great white is a man eating monster that will stop at nothing to get it's meal.Next to the megalodon the great white is the most dangerous. It has four inch teeth that can ripe through steel.
The great white doesn't mean to attack us,when we swim in shark infested waters the sharks think of us as seals because they think our feet are seal flippers. The sharks meal plan is anything you can think of from seals to tires you name it he eats it.The great white shark has over 3,000 teeth with a row of 60 on each jaw.
This much feared fish has a torpedo shaped body,a pointed snout,a crescent shaped tail, five gill slits,no fine spines,an anal fin,and three main fins.Young great white sharks eat fish, rays, and other sharks. Adults eat larger prey, including sea lions, seals, and any other thing. The teeth are triangular, serrated (saw-edged), razor-sharp, and up to 4 inches long. The teeth are located in rows which rotate into use as needed. The first two rows are used in obtaining prey, shark's primarily use their sense of smell followed by their sensing of electric charges.Great white sharks have been observed along the coastlines of California to Alaska, the east coast of the USA and most of the Gulf coast, Hawaii, most of South America, South Africa, Australia (except the north coast), New Zealand, the Mediterranean Sea, West Africa to Scandinavia, Japan, and the eastern coastline of China and southern Russia.
